iamerican-huge software package provides American English dictionary for ispell (huge), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iamerican-huge
iamerican-huge is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iamerican-huge package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iamerican-huge *
You will get with iamerican-huge package name, version, architecture and description in a table
